Late 40’s, been playing coming up two years now. I can read music and also have good relative pitch. I practice around 90 minutes daily.
Prior to the bass I played the trumpet to a good standard as a teenager, so you could say I’ve been playing for 40 years! i gave up due to work/life. At the age of 45 I decided to teach myself the bass and have been doing so ever since!
I’m at a stage now where I need to play with other musicians, be it for fun/jamming, or for gigs.
