MUSICIANS NEEDED FOR GRUNGE PROG HARD ROCK BAND
I am looking for people to start a new performing/recording and eventually touring band.
I have already started momentum with this project and recently played an almost sell out show with some friends but I need people who can commit longer term than my current lovely rhythm section.
I am a singer/songwriter based in South West London. I love that gritty sound, messing around with time signatures, I love a meaty riff, I love music that is raw, honest and powerful.
I am not just looking for bandmates, I am on the hunt. I mean business and I will be taking my time to find the right people. I want bandmates who want to get their hands dirty in all aspects of being in a band. Yes, the music will come first (I mean what else are we all here for?) but I want people who get hyped booking gigs, helping with the demon that is social media, sorting out merch, loading and unloading gear etc.
I am looking for a drummer, and bassist. Ideally you would be up for doing some backing vocals too but its not necessary. Initially (for the first year or so) I would start with minimum practice of once a week, amping it up to a minimum of 2-3 depending on how often we end up gigging.
I write original music.
If you drive it is a bonus…but I don’t drive so I can’t judge!
If any of this sounds like your bag, please get in touch.
P.S I am brown and a part of the lgbtqi+ family. If this puts you off, I advise you to go sit with those feelings and have a think about why.
