SEEKINGBand to Join, Vocalist, Bass Guitar, Drums, Keyboard.
Seeking a band that is a little bit unusual - either covers or originals.
I'm mid 40s, been playing for over 30 years, and have a lot of experience with both gigging and recording. I'm looking for a covers band with a difference, or possibly an originals band (or a mix of the two). I'm not in it for the money anymore so have little interest in playing functions, weddings, etc. I just want to make good quality music without having to play covers that you already hear week in, week out.
I have professional equipment and transport and can play in a variety of styles. I'm reliable and easy to get on with and can sing harmonies/BVs too.
My influences are many and various, but I love 60s, psychedelia, art rock, late 70s new wave, some prog/classic/hard rock. Not hugely into funk, soul, blues, jazz, although I don't mind these influences in other styles of music.
I'm quite open minded about what I do... something with keyboards and a rich vocal sound would be appealing but am open to any ideas. I'd be happy to join an existing band or start work on a completely new project. Message me if you'd like to chat.

I usually play Gibson SGs through a Marshall JVM with Various pedals. I have a nice warm sounding guitar tone, not too overdriven.
