Hi my name is Julia, I've been playing Sax for 5 years or so. Rehearsing bi-weekly with a Soul band that I play with and gigging with them on average once a month. I work on a collaborative project with a guitarist - we rehearse together bi-weekly mostly doing covers, but exploring blues (this is a great interest of ours). I also work with another guitarist who writes his own stuff and gig with him whenever I'm available. Playing my sax is my passion - I love growling, screaming, flutter tonguing - moody, sassy, gritty, emotional playing, and smooth too :-). I currently concentrate on playing my Alto but have my tenor too.
