I’ve been playing drums since November 2023 and am looking to connect with some local, intermediate-level musicians in Hitchin and surrounding areas, to jam and play covers just for fun. I'm currently working through Trinity Rock & Pop Grade 5 (as of April 2025). I’m hoping to build my confidence performing, get more creative, and, most importantly, enjoy making music with others.
I’m into all kinds of music, and I love playing along to well-known songs or even obscure ones. I’m also working on getting better at improvising. No big performance goals for me, just excited to learn and have fun!

I’m really into funk at the moment and learning some James Brown and Meters songs. That said, my music tastes are all over the place—rock, grunge, indie, hip-hop, rap, punk, electronic… you name it.
To add a little background, I've got two boys (one is also learning the drums) and I run a home business so can be somewhat flexible. I'm available mostly at weekends, sometimes during weekdays, and possibly evenings if not travelling too far. I've got the kit set up in a loft room at home so there's space here too.
