Hi, I am the guitarist for the band, Dig Up Her Bones, based in Manchester. We are looking for a bassist to join our outfit to learn our original 5 songs (with help and time of course), play them live, and write new original songs with us. Below details what is asked for from our singer, Ruth:
“This is a female fronted alt rock band. There's some grunge and punk in there too!
We have some gigs booked and this is the commitment we would ask for:
Around 1 gig a month and a practice before gigs.
At least 2 practices per month, from end of April.
We will also have a writing session at some point July onwards.
We have 4 potential gigs between June and October (one confirmed).
Our influences include Queen Adreena, Hole, Garbage, Pj Harvey.

Ruth - Vocals.
Ruth put the band together a year or so ago. Ruth is also a performance artist and is also an event organiser for “We Are Manchester”. Ruth is very passionate about the music and is also very fair and enjoys other creative input.
Simon - Guitars
I’ve only recently joined the band and I’m settling in quickly and comfortably. Ruth and Alfie are a pleasure to work with and receptive to my ideas. I have been playing for 20years, though no virtuoso, I have plenty of experience in studios and helping others enhance their songs. I also play bass for the band, Dystopians.
