ABOUT

sh*teport was born out of Stockport, a place the band only half-jokingly calls a dead end. The name says it all — Stockport is sh*t. There’s nothing to do, nowhere to go, and the streets are crawling with bored lads in black balaclavas trying to look hard. Growing up here feels like being trapped in a loop of boredom and bullsh*t, so sh*teport decided to flip that frustration into something loud, fast, and furious.

Instead of sinking into the same cycle, they carved out their own escape with distorted guitars, pissed-off lyrics, and an attitude sharp enough to cut through the dull grey of their hometown. Every song is a middle finger to the deadbeat atmosphere of Stockport, a way of saying “we’re not rotting here quietly.”

sh*teport isn’t polished, and they don’t want to be. They’re the sound of boredom, anger, and raw energy turned into something worth screaming about — a punk band built straight out of a town they love to hate.

The clash
At the core of sh*teport’s sound is the guitar, and I play it with the same no-bullsh*t, relentless energy as Johnny Ramone. No fancy solos, no showing off — just downstrokes, fast and hard, like getting smacked with a hammer. Every riff’s meant to be loud, quick, and simple enough to get drilled into your head, the way punk’s supposed to be. It ain’t about flash, it’s about power, attitude, and keeping the whole thing charging forward. Like Johnny, I don’t play guitar to decorate the music — I play it to define it.
