Hi I am bassist currently playing in covers band - soul, Motown and pop. We are struggle to get a committed vocalist and could do with a lead / rhythm guitarist with backing vocals. We are super flexible and are looking to expand our existing set list of about 15 songs to go gigging in '26.

I also play in an originals band, that is more rock / pop (at times) that I really enjoy. I have written lyrics for a few of the songs. The others in this band struggle for legit reasons to commit to regular practice, which is why I am looking for a reliable, committed band to join, where we can all put in the work and make progress.

Other than that I tend to have be in Bristol every other weekend to see my adult children for one night, so this can be flexible within in reason if it clashes with band commitments.

I have very broad range of influences - Motown (love), jazz, afrobeat, Fat Freddy's drop, Foals (Antidotes is my fav album of all time), jazz (Ezra Collective, Go Go Penguin, Alfa Mist), currently really enjoying the Amazons (alot) but also enjoy Fred Again, Public Service Broadcasting, Last Dinner Party, Gus Dapperton, Still Woozy, Dominic Fike, not too bothered with Tyler...
