I am a bassist who played when I was young, then got distracted by life, then picked it up again about 10 years ago, so I have good playing experience and working with other musicians and gigging. I enjoy playing with like-minded, good-humoured and enthusiastic folk who want to have some fun playing together, get some tunes under their belts and see where it goes.

I enjoy transcribing tunes, so I am happy to play covers but would be just as able to play originals. I have a good knowledge of harmony so can apply that to any song writing.

I have very wide musical tastes, but my preferred playing genres are funk, pop, soul, motown and classic rock. Basically, as long as there's a groove, I'll like it and I'll play it!

I play/practice 6 or 7 days a week. I have a full-time career job, so I can't make this my number one focus, but I am keen and diligent at what I do, so if you fancy getting something together or want to chat, just get in touch.

Oh, and I always bring biscuits.
