ABOUT

From the streets of Manchester, LT Madz has emerged as a voice that straddles vulnerability and grit. His journey began in Salford, where he first stepped onto the stage via a local council–booked event. That 20-minute solo slot was small, but it resonated—and it led to further opportunities to perform across open-mics, youth events, and various Manchester showcases.

Over time, LT Madz has built a reputation for energy and emotional honesty. His music draws on the tension between struggle and aspiration, blending thematic undercurrents of mental health, resilience, and unfiltered storytelling. His track “Darktimes” is widely seen as a landmark release—one that captures the essence of his “come through the storm” narrative.

Other singles like “Work Like Rihanna” and “Watch My Crown Fly” have helped him gain traction beyond purely local circles, aided by platforms like BBC North West Introducing.

His live presence is versatile—he performs at youth programmes, charity events, music festivals, and grassroots showcases. Through these performances, he seeks to bring his stories into real space, connecting with listeners who resonate with the highs and lows.

Beyond the stage, LT Madz is strategic about growth. He’s recorded genre-blending tracks (for nce, working on drill pieces with Spanish chorus ideas) and explores collaboration with peers, always with an eye toward expanding his sound.

He describes his work not just as entertainment but as narrative: crafting music that he himself “would listen to,” and inviting others into his experience.

While still ascending, LT Madz is carving his niche: a Manchester rapper who balances raw truth with creative ambition. His aim is to evolve—musically, emotionally, and in reach—without losing the authenticity at his core.
