ABOUT

Hi! My name is Liz (or Lizzy) and I’d like to join and existing band and/or start a new band. (I have a lot of free time)
For the new band I have a bassist on board and we are currently looking for Guitar, Keyboard, Bass and Drummer. We’d probably start with doing covers of many different genres, as we both are music enthusiasts! I’d like to do covers and originals, and with the covers, take all different genres and make them our own. My voice lends itself to a more Motown, Soul and rock n roll spirit but my heart is punk & garage rock through and through. I’ve written some originals, but never got to see them come to fruition with my last bandmate. (He got a bit drunk the night of a recording and proved to not be a great bandmate) Looking to collaborate with all members of the band and create musical history even if it’s only in our minds and some stages. We're going for a Glam garage-y, Punk n Roll, 80s keyboard-y New Wave sound, with a touch of soul (cuz I got that big ol voice) Contact if interested!
I myself am a Female vocalist with a punk rock heartbeat and a voice for soul. Would love to start a band along the lines of a Detroit Cobras meets The Buzzcocks.
My other influences are The Shangri Las, The Boys, Holly and the Italians, Nick Gilder, Eddie and The Hot Rods, Suzie Quattro, The Damned, Ronnie Spector, The Yachts, Joan Jett… I’m new to writing but I’ve always had a way with words. Open starting or to joining a band as well. I have great stage presence, and some serious dance moves. I also make clothes and have a flair for style. I haven’t really been in a band for ages but if you’re familiar with San Francisco Garage Punk of the 90s I may have played with someone you’ve heard of. ????????
*Please note the recording of Do You Wanna Dance is just so you can get a taste of my voice. I taught myself GarageBand and drums for this recording so I don’t really know what I’m doing.
