Right now, my band Any Kinda People (@anykindapeople) is looking for for a really strong rhythm/melody guitarist (the ability to sing backing vocals would be plus)
We play 'contemporary (ie mostly 21st century) soul', a mix of Neo-soul, R&B, retro-soul, hip-hop soul, funk, and soul-pop, both covers and originals.
We work to put on a proper show. That means working for the crowd, really good vocals, strong arrangements, and no long solos/noodling/self-indulgence.
