As the band's lead guitarist I have just achieved RGT grade 7 with Distinction.
I have previously attended a course in London which involves playing in a band. Since then, a group of us have formed our own band, playing together once or twice a month. We are a pop and blues band and have a wide variety of music we cover. I must emphasise it's 'just for fun'. We tend to meet up at Brixton Hill studios and there's a nominal cost per session. We are mostly looking for a singer to sing pop and some rock and/or blues songs. A drummer would be a bonus! We can provide backing drum tracks. You will have access to our keyboard players own fantastic software to practice on at home!
Songs we have on our 'set list' (we are looking to expand our set list) are:
Help! by the Beatles, Summertime: the Lana Del Rey version, Flowers: Miley Cyrus, Espresso: Sabrina Carpenter. We are starting to look at Bell Bottom Blues: Gretchen Wilson cover version, The Thrill is Gone: BB King. We tend to meet up at the studio on a Saturday about once a month. We are a friendly supportive group of people.

EQUIPMENT
All equipment is provided by the studio we use in Brixton Hill. If you are a drummer they don't supply cymbals, so you'd need to bring your own. If you are a singer, it's ideal if you have your own microphone but the studio we use does provide microphones.
