Band to Join, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Other Percussion, Keyboard, Piano, Steel guitar, Upright bass.

Hi - I'm a singer of many years experience, both as a soloist and as the front lad of a function band.

I trained as an actor originally, soI know how to use the stage and build audience rapport. Eventually singing took priority.

I started out on the UK club scene (which existed once!) touring as as a soloist, but ultimately ended up working in the Middle East, South East Asia and European holiday spots.
For the last four years I've been with a great little function/wedding band, but due to family commitments for some of the others we've sadly had to call it a day.

Now, ideally, I'm looking for a combo that wants to work on ballads/standards/swing style music and who want to be out there gigging. Having said that, I would certainly consider another function band.

But I do want to be out gigging! I don't mind doing the odd charity gig, but like most I need my music to be an income stream as well (although I'm not expeccting it to make me rich)

I'm very flexible and adaptable as I have no family commitments, and for decent paid gigs I have no problem travelling out of my area.

Technically I'd be called a contralto, and I've frequently been told I'm a bit Karen Carpenter like in my sound. That's not me saying that by the way, although I do take it as a compliement.
