Early 30s experienced drummer with quality gear, transport and decent time management skills. I've played in many alternative rock bands over the years and am no stranger to the scene. Keen for more for the right band/ensemble.

Please do message if you are considering drummers for a covers/function band playing modern chart rock/alt/pop/punk/dance anthems in a rocky style. Specifically, I love the idea of taking radio chart tunes and making them work in more of a rock band setting. There are many YouTube cover bands doing this that I'm jealous of.

I'm happy to consider a few older classic rock songs but I'd prefer modern to be the main focus. My current originals band is metal-core (pop-metal) but this is about as heavy as I'd ever want to play. Lighter music welcome too!

Ideally looking for a full, reasonably polished, commercial sound that puts smiles on faces, regardless of genre. I basically want to be in a dodgy covers band, but where the covers are actually quite good.

Will happily explore original music too with the right people / feel.

You'll be in the right zone if you search rock, pop or dance anthems for decades from the 2000s until now on your music streaming service of choice. I unashamedly love upbeat and energetic feel-good music that makes you want to sing loudly and jump around. A big vocal melody really helps.

EQUIPMENT

Signature Custom Varus Deluxe drums with an array of Zildjian Custom cymbals.

I have a Roland sample pad (for backing tracks), can play with IEMs or without. Haz cowbell. I also have a decent custom electronic drum kit for home practice.

Also have a mini home studio complete with valve lunchbox amps, digital mixer, various mics etc for occasional recording. I write synths/orchestral backing for my current band.
