Playing for 13 years now, live experience is around 10 years. Main experience is function work as either guitarist with BV's or lead vox and rhythm guitar. I've occasionally performed background jazz as either guitarist or bass. I've also performed in pit bands, jazz duo work with trombone/sax/singer etc and have delved into freelance for artists either signed to labels or not.

After 6 years of playing in local outfits from my hometown, I moved to London to gain my degree in performance and to hone my craft even further as well as meet some amazing musicians along the way.

I always do my best to play for the song, to listen to the other musicians in the band and to be a very laid back guy to work with.

Now based in Bristol, i'm working with a friend on an originals project as well as possibly getting back into function work, should the right band pop up at the right time. Here are two previous bands within the function world i've worked with:

My main influences are 70's funk and soul. Luckily my dad raised me up listening to Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Brecker Brothers, Jimi Hendrix, D'Angelo, Bill Withers, Tower Of Power, Living Colour. The list could go on and on, and over the years i've expanded my listening repertoire from Claude Debussy right through to Queens of the Stone Age.
