I have over 20 years of gig experience, initially as a percussionist (hand percussion, congas/bongos, drumkit etc.) but since 2005 as a band front man (lead vocals with hand percussion), having played over 100 gigs to audiences in excess of 1,000 people (weddings, parties, festivals).
Due to various commitments, several band members of my 7-piece are no longer able to commit, and I've come to this site in the hope of starting a new musical project in the form of a brass-based mobile band that draws from the influences of New Orleans second line bands (see Hot-8 Brass Band or Hackney Colliery band in the UK. This has been a long-time ambition, but my feeling is that in the short to medium term future (due to Covid-19), there is an opportunity to take advantage of existing outside musical infrastructure (e.g. bandstands) to perform more modern music to current audiences, and build a following from there.

Influences
Extremely diverse. As per description above, intention is to translate multiple genres into New Orleans/French-style brass-band format in an original way, with a view to being able to perform outdoor gigs that comply with any restrictions that are imposed due to the pandemic over the near term (looking to start in early 2021).
