I'm a singer and literate/original lyricist (if I do say so myself!) seeking an ambitious dynamic guitarist/tunesmith to interpret original songs with and then form a band.

Song subjects are mostly Leeds-centric and/or personal with no love songs or someone left me songs (okay, maybe one or two but they're twisted;). Subjects slide from Sutcliffe to Savile with Bar Phono, county lines, everyday glum glam lives, pointless politicians, over sexualised internet sadness and the silliness of organised religion just some of the topics.

I'm looking for someone who loves Johnny Marr, Jonny Greenwood and Joey Santiago, basically any guitarist who's first name begins with a J.

The song backings I made are quite experimental musically (lots of samples, effects and strings), I want to turn them into guitar, keys, bass and drums based songs that can be played live and maybe recorded as a new album, if that sounds of interest then get in touch, some of the songs are on here to listen to.

Influences I'd like to head towards are The Smiths, Radiohead and the Pixies but formulating some new musical alchemy along the way to distribute to the morose masses.
