I am guitar player predominantly. I have been playing for 15 years plus. Most recently involved in a semi successful Leeds based band which saw music i was a part of reaching the pages of The Guardian, The Times, Drowned In Sound, Louder Than War, NME, Clash Magazine etc... Also heavily supported and played extensively by prime time BBC 6 Music DJs (Lauren Laverne, Huey Morgan, Gideon Coe, Craig Charles etc...) and Dave Rowntree of Blur on XFM Radio. Two UK headline tours selling out venues in Leeds and London.
I have a very professional attitude and approach to making music whilst still enjoying the experiences and relationships developed within a tight unit. I have extensive experience in behind the scenes music work having taken full responsibility as a booking agent for previous projects (securing festival appearances at Beacons, Standon Calling, Underneath The Stars Festival, YNot Festival and booking uk dates at venues equal to the Brudenell) as well as marketing and promotion having been responsible for most PR campaigns and liaising with management and labels. I am able to bring a wide variety of contacts to the table.
I play multiple styles and have an open mind and fresh approach to most genres. I am ideally looking for a band / project to really sink my teeth in to and pursue semi professionally / professionally with the intention to release, tour and look for management, label and booking support.
