By Starlight 2016
By Starlight 2016Magnificent vocal by the ace Sarah Kelly, song by yours truly
Ride My Train V6
Ride My Train V6Possibly my favourite of the song's I've written, this is served up to perfection with a simply stunning vocal from the legendary Sarah Kelly, with the icing on the cake being supplied by Becky Dellow's astonishing fiddle solo. Am I lucky to be working with such talented people, or what? Enjoy, as I know you will!
Hurry Home - vocals Bob Porter
Hurry Home - vocals Bob PorterI’d previously pitched a few songs to Bob Porter which he liked, but somehow we never got round to finishing anything off. He’s got a great, distinctive voice though, and I wanted to see if we could do something unusual and a bit melodic. Hurry Home started off a bit folky. When he started singing I liked it, but when he got to the line “Will you ever hurry home” I just went, like, OMG… perfect, you know. Really think this is quite special.
O Holy Night - vocal Sarah Kelly
O Holy Night - vocal Sarah KellyFantastic vocal by the divine Sarah Kelly, what can I say? I came over all Brian May for the guitar solo! Enjoy.
Still Life With Me - 2012 - Jazz-pop song, vocal by Katharina Heinrich
Still Life With Me - 2012 - Jazz-pop song, vocal by Katharina HeinrichVocals by the incredible Katharina Heinrich... Kat really did a nice job on this song, and really pretty much nailed what I had in mind. For once a song of mine that doesn't need much explanation... it's about some bird who's been ditched. Quite liked the guitar solo!
