ABOUT

I'm a professional drummer and bass player based in the Stroud, Gloucestershire. I’m interested in projects, session work and touring. Have played to sold out shows at the London Barbican Hall, Birmingham Town Hall and others (Oysterband and June Tabor UK tour), and to capacity crowds at Cambridge, Sidmouth and Shrewsbury Folk Festivals among many others; as well as tours and festival appearances in Denmark, Spain, Germany and the U.S

I'm as happy playing alt rock as I am jazz, soul, folk and world music, and can contribute backing vocals/harmonies.

I’ve recorded over 30 albums to date.

The most important musical elements to me are feel, groove and communication. I’m known mostly as a drummer, but have played over 200 gigs on electric and double bass.
