I have played guitar and been a vocalist in bands for many years including fronting a 7 piece soul band. I'd like to continue to play but with a more relaxed style, possibly acoustic with another acoustic guitarist or solo instrumentalist (violin/flute/cello)-I have written songs but I'm not what you call prolific. I'm happy to cover classy acoustic music, singer songwriters from any era. Have been playing with a Soul Band but found it restricting and stifling, and need to be more involved with the overall arrangements. I have a strong voice but do not consider myself a natural frontman-more interested in good harmony singing and occasional lead vocal. need to work with open minded musicians who don't just want to stick rigidly to the original arrangements.

Influences
Jeff Buckley, Turin Brakes, Elbow, Tom McRae, Scott Matthews. I like blues or indie influenced music with good vocals and interesting arrangements. I am very open minded and have an excellent ear for interesting textures and arrangements.
