BASS PLAYER WANTED – EMOTIONAL RESILIENCE REQUIRED
We’re a covers band bashing out The Clash, The Jam, Stiff Little Fingers, Buzzcocks and other loud, fast songs written by people with better hair than us.
We need a bass player because:
Ours doesn’t exist
And someone has to hold this thing together
You should be able to:
Play bass without stopping when everything else goes wrong
Count to four confidently
Ignore bad jokes, wrong chords, and the phrase “let’s just do it again from the top”
You will be expected to:
Endure chaos disguised as rehearsal
Laugh when things fall apart (frequently)
Accept that tempo is a suggestion
Ego-free, drama-free, and preferably still smiling after rehearsal.
