I am Caite, a Music Producer and Music Artist from Londonderry originally, now based in Brighton UK. Working in the Music industry for over 25 yrs, I am an A&R for the EMG Music Label, AFA (Artists for Artists) Music Mentor and Advocate for Independent Artists Rights, DJ, known for EDM/Dance/House music within the club scene but I also produce many other genres.

I am looking for musicians to collaborate with and also for musicians to permanently retain for touring.

I am a Music Artist, Producer and Manager, Music Show Host and founder of a musical movement that supports artists for free. As a Music Artist, I have been privileged enough to have won awards over the years.

I enjoy writing for other Artists as well as for myself. Music is a passion!

To describe myself, I was born in 1981. I am a pale, freckly red haired woman of slim/medium build, having dual sectoral heterochromia, with both eyes having green and blue colour, although the left eye is more blue and my right is more green, which runs common in the women of my family. I sometimes wear contact lenses to equalise the colour.

I can "see" sound. This means that as I listen to Music (or sound in general), it appears as waves and colours to me. I can see things like pitch, the notes, or beat for nce, all in a kind of flow--like heart rate layers.

Whilst I have, in the past, not really been one for a lot of Social Media activity, I am now trying to improve that. Call me 'old school 'I but I would rather connect to my audience face to face, in concerts and gigs, but apparently "social media is the way to go! So I am trying.

I've been in the business of Music for a good length of time (over 20 years!) and have seen and experienced many changes over the years.

I enjoy touring but it can be stressful. I am often in the studio either writing and creating music, singing covers, writing lyrics for others, or I am creating the music for them/with them. I also attend a couple of the Music apps, and am fairly regular and active on those; uploading videos and posting covers or visiting the many rooms which allows you to collaborate with people from all over the world, of a variety of different levels of expertise and proficiency.

I enjoy networking and chatting with other Artists, Musicians and contacts in the business. My label is EMG.

Influences

If I am perfectly honest, I am influenced by almost all music that I hear and I draw inspiration from everywhere, everyone, everything-all of the time, not just from personal experience, which allows me to write relatable lyrics. There are just too many Musicians who inspire and influence me to name them all individually. Some are professional and some are at the aspiring level. It is always a privilege to get to hear others' singing or playing instruments.
