I am a 32 year-old vocalist and guitarist along with a 26 year-old bassist who are looking for a drummer for a 3 set-up band. I want to form a strong rhythm section, which I believe is 50% of a band, along with a nice and define bass line, and a groovy and nice beat on drums. So I’m looking for a drummer that can play at a reasonable standard level.
I write my own stuff and I'm definitively looking for passionate people to write with too. I've played in different bands all these years, toured in Portugal, Bulgaria, played in several festivals in my hometown in Galicia (Spain), Scotland and recorded some demos.
Giging and recording something as soon as possible is one of my goals as well as hopefully getting somewhere with the band, so a weekly of at least 4 to 8 hours rehearsal is a must.

I have uploaded some of my solo stuff so you can have a rough idea of how I write. The sound of the band is kind of grungy/rocky/ bluesy so we’re not really into the nowadays indie and metal stuff which doesn’t call our attention at all. Members Of Band

Originally the band was formed by me on guitar and vocals, a bass player and a drummer. This is a project we started last year so we only had the chance to do one gig and when we were about to get into the studio the drummer had to leave due to personal reasons. Thus the songs I have uploaded on this add are from my solo stuff not from this band but at at least they can give you an idea of how I write and how I play.

EQUIPMENT

A rehearsal place and recording studio would be available for free as I'm studying the BA Applied Music course in the University of Strathclyde.
