ABOUT

My name is Will, and I've been playing music ever since I was 8 years old. I first began with classical guitar but swiftly moved onto electric guitar after two years or so. Since then I've moved onto other areas in addition to this such as singing and bass guitar as well as dabbling around on the piano from time to time. The only gigs I've really done in my time were with a group I co-founded in sixth form which was mainly focused on covers, although we did have a few average originals. With this group we also performed on the local radio and in two local festivals which was a great experience. During my time at sixth form I studied music technology which has helped me massively in my home production of songs, and as such I'm currently working on my own album. Mainly just using this platform to see what kind of talent is out there and if any like-minded individual is close enough to jam with. Despite what my "musical preference" is for the genres, it isn't limited to the 4 selected choices as I adore all genres, but these are the areas I am likely to focus on (as well as progressive). A fun fact about myself, I joined the Live Music Society (LiveSoc) at Southampton University in 2014, joined the committee as the "Jams and Open Mics Manager" in 2015/16 and took over as President of the society in 2016/17. A few of the photos are from either the jams we ran or an event we were a part of that took place in the Southampton O2 Guildhall. At the present moment I am filling in as bassist for the Southampton-based band "Sketchshow".
