I was classically trained on the piano, and studied composition at in New York, but my influences are very diverse; I played mandolin in a bluegrass band while I was in New York, and I write music with influences ranging from jazz, folk, bluegrass to classical. I mainly play the mandolin and a little guitar now. I write songs and sing as well. The stuff I've been doing is mostly folk-y songwriting, but I'm interested in doing some more genre-crossing projects.
