ABOUT

Hi there!

I'm a French singer, fiddler, and guitarist who recently moved to Oxford, UK.

I have a classical background in violin, but I currently focus on singing and playing mainly Celtic music. I have performed as a singer and guitarist at various events, including festivals, concerts in bars, private parties, and religious ceremonies, primarily playing Celtic ballads. I can sing in French, English and Spanish. I am happy to try to sing in Irish or Scottish, but I do not speak those languages.

In addition to my voice and guitar repertoire, I also have a traditional Irish/Celtic fiddle repertoire for sessions, including jigs, reels, polkas, hornpipes, waltzes...

On the violin/fiddle I can read sheet music, learn tunes by ear and do some basic improvisation (I'm currently working on that!)

I am looking for other committed musicians, preferably in Oxfordshire, to form a band and play regular gigs. I am open to joining as a singer and accompaniment guitarist and/or as a fiddler.

I'm happy to start a duo, trio, or band from scratch and am willing to actively work on learning the repertoire and contributing to the group.

Influences

I love Celtic music in general, particularly from Ireland, Scotland, and Brittany. My inspirations include Loreena McKennitt, Celtic Woman, The Dubliners, The High Kings, Alan Stivell, Kevin Burke and more!
