Hi, I'm Nats and I'm singer/songwriter/producer/recording engineer/rhythm guitarist.

Hands are an alt rock/pop band seeking preferably a female bassist and a male/female synth player. We have recently done a successfully funded kickstarter campaign, recorded our first EP together which consists of 5 songs and will be passionately gigging, writing and rocking. We have headlined a sold out show at Richmix London.

We rehearse at least once a week but also do writing sessions and business/social media meetings too. Our initial plan is to make sure we are covering our costs through our gigs and as we progress becoming completely self-sufficient from the music.

We are looking for very committed and talented musicians who love the project and who can bring their awesomeness and flavour in to our sound so together we can make something completely fresh and fantastical.

A bit about me: I have been performing professionally for over 10 years and interact naturally and freely with the audience and band. Putting on a great show and connecting with people through music is what it's all about!

I tend to experiment a lot with genres using my voice, Logic and my guitar as tools for writing. I would like to build more of a bridge between electronics and instruments and we have begun executing exciting ideas for "show-like" performances in the performing of our music. If you like experimenting then we could have a lot of fun with our music together. My favourite band is Arcade Fire and I would say the songs I have which are almost ready for an album cross over the genres of rock/indie/prog/pop and ska. I think that we have begun to tie these ideas together beautifully but we are looking for the missing links now. I love working on production but find it can get lonely at times so if I can find someone who is keen to do this with me it would make it more fun to collaborate and bounce ideas off each other. We are using the EP songs as a starting point, but I thrive on collaboration and would love a band who can write together. I am constantly writing new material.

I have an audio engineering diploma from SAE and degree in Songwriting. I used to do functions for a living for many years and quit that to pursue my original music career which is why this Sun Loving South African is in less than sunny London! ;) I have had loads of experience performing at the "sticky carpet" venues around London including Zigfrid von Underbelly, Water Rats (supported Lisa Mitchell), The Workshop, 229, Babalou etc...... And I still have a wonderful connection with lots of these promoters not to mention the loads more people I have connected with through ICMP, we are going to jump right in there once we are ready. We want to gig smart, not hard so we can ensure a thriving, sustainable and lasting career in music.

I dream of creating an ideal band situation where it's all of our dreams, all of our work and we all push for it and use whatever skills we have to make it happen!!!! I might be a dreamer, but I know I'm not the only one!!!! ;) SO WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!!!!

I have a very organised plan ahead for the next 2 years which I can share with you and we can amend where necessary.
