ABOUT

I am Tsubasa Lucid and I play misery sweetened sorrow driven cold heartbreak music.

This started as a solo project as a singer-songwriter in 2021 in Japan - after I’ve gone thru many big life events that changed me forever. I wrote series of songs in my old apartment with an acoustic guitar. Eventually I leaned how to record and edit music myself 100% DIY and unleashed an album Bad News and an EP Nowhere November. We can easily be found on Instagram, Bandcamp, YouTube, Spotify and many other platforms. Even though the music was initially supposed to be a solo acoustic project, it ended up containing full band instruments including lead electric guitar, bass, drums and keyboard/piano.
Life happened and I moved to London. I’ve been going to countless open mics and played one gig since then. But there’s only so much I can do by myself with a guitar. So here I am seeking the right people to play shows with.

I just started looking for members. This is a very new band and have not played any gig as an unit before. We specifically seek a guitar player to play some slow, heavily reverbed emotional melodies & a bass player to play bold soul-shaking lines. It’d be amazing if either player who can also sing for backing vocals with harmony. However it is not necessary. We are very flexible as our drummer can also play other instruments. So if you’re an experienced drummer who loves country and folk, we want you. We are pretty relaxed in terms of practice. Most likely about a couple of times a month and also have a free studio space in North London.

As I mentioned, all the songs are already written, recorded and ready. And I do not expect you to write anything new. But I’d love you to bring your unique element musically and aesthetically to make the music come alive and shine at shows. Join the family now.
