I've been playing guitar for almost 50 years in various covers and original bands many years ago. I also played drums in a covers band for 10 years but my first instrument is the guitar, at which I suppose I'd be described as advanced level lead and rhythm but not for me to judge (I can play the lead break on Stairway to Heaven if that helps ;-).
I've never stopped playing, always learning but need some motivation to play regularly. Still do open-mic acoustic gigs occasionally.
