Hi, I am early 60s, (but don't feel it!) I played in several original music bands from mid 70s to mid 80s. Started off in the 70s with rock and melodic prog-rock, then moving into the 80s more pop rock. As well as the drummer, I also wrote a little and arranged. I rehearsed a LOT to create really good original songs and a tight band, but probably only played about 50 gigs. Altogether, I have spent about month in studios (adding up all the days) and sessioned on an album by a top african artist that was released in Kenya. I stopped playing for 35 years (where did the time go!) and picked up sticks again last year when I retired from my day job. Not yet back to my best, but trying. I am not looking for regular gigs in a 'run of the mill' covers band, but would like to play for fun with like minded musicians - maybe an occasional gig, or recording - who knows? Open to developing original music or maybe tackle some interesting album covers! I have a couple of friends who might join in on bass and keyboards, so really looking for a 6 string lead guitarist. Or I happy to join in with your band. I can offer a spacious rural rehearsal room near Tiverton (with a pa system).
