Moved back to area a few months ago. Playing in an 80s cover band till last year. Fair amount of experience playing keys or bass in various bands in London and Devon over past decades. Now looking to either join existing outfit on bass or to get together with other local musos and build up something from scratch.
Main point to enjoy the music rather than money or adulation. but aiming for say 6/12 gigs a year to keep focus.
Nothing flash and fancy but enough solid experience to be reliable bandmate.
Quite like the idea of working on interesting arrangements of known numbers, maybe some of our own creations thrown in, but open to negotiation in terms of repertoire (within reason!)
