From the ashes of the 70's british music scene
there arose some seriously talented musicians,
this is our tribute to those great British bands
with songs from the late 70s to early 80s era.
Scorching guitar - blistering bass - thunderous drums - fantastic live music played with energy and passion.
We also have a Bowie tribute and a Sting/Police tribute band.
GB79 is a three piece band - guitar, bass and drums.
We are all experienced musicians who have had appearances on Radio 1 and MTV as well as supporting acts as diverse as the Average White Band, Jeff Lynne (ELO), the Sweet and Yes.
Band is based around Exeter.
