When I was younger, I played alto sax in a big band and a couple of local gigging funk and soul bands, plus a couple of bands which wrote their own music, one alternative and the other an experimental mix of styles.
These days, having tried the guitar, I really enjoy learning and playing the bass. I really can't say how much time I can dedicate to anything at the moment but if the right opportunity came along I would hope I could make time for it. I can't claim to be proficient on the bass but I'm keen and getting better all the time.
