Happy to play in a "just for fun band" as well as something more serious.Also I do a lot of home recording and write some original material, so would be interested in collaborations. I started as Bass and vocalist playing Chicago and 60's/70's style British blues and in Blues/Folk bands,then played acoustic chord strumming guitar in 1920's style Jazz band, went back to bass and vocals and progressed to original material (mainstream pop, ballads, rock and elements of jazz, folk and syncopated rhythms etc), then fronted own blues/rock band . Moved to Australia. Toured in Heavy rock band and then spent 20 years playing in covers bands - Dance, pop, rock, you name it. Came back to UK this year.

Influences
Broad tastes in every genre of music, if it's good, or they are "giving it a go".
In recent years prefer songs with good structure and strong lyrics. That said, I have been chopping up songs and using drum machines since the early 80's, so I don't have any rules, as long as it works. I'm a sucker for harmonies.

EQUIPMENT
I have a bass that I had hand-built for me in London 25 years a go or I'd use the old Fender Precision. I have a Fender BXR Two Hundred Combo. Sure microphones. That's all I need.
