Hey,
We are Halfbeak.

Currently looking for a drummer.
We are folk-rock with lots of male/female three-part harmonies, quite psychedelic/trippy/heavier/experimental in parts. We have a bunch of very good songs with clever words so should be fun to record and gig them in the near future. We are looking for someone who is reasonably competent, but more importantly someone who likes our stuff.
Some influences/similarities: Beatles, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Velvet Underground, Daniel Johnston Sparklehorse, Julian Cope, Syd Barrett, Radiohead, Jesus & Mary Chain...
