ABOUT
The Knott are a 4piece indie/rock band ,formed in the early spring of 2006 by ex "The Silent Getaway" front man, singer-songwriter, "Largeit" Lee Knott, Matt "monster" Keeble on bass guitar and perfectionism and Andy "Daddycool" Dickinson dealing with lead guitar and babies.
Powered by the love of music and the emotions performing brings, our sound is a product of peer pressure, knowledge and desire! The love of New Things that energise us into being.
We are an original, emotional and passionate band, trying to put accross a message loud and clear "WAKE UP!". We do also have a softer underbelly for the more faint hearted...... keep it new... keep it real.
Our songs at the present time have come through the songwriting workaholic "Largeit" Lee. However, There has been some new band material forming during rehearsals and this is while we still have 2 albums worth or tracks to learn! mmmm... Yes we work very very hard...
but play pretty hard too!
At the moment we are performing occasional gigs to raise awareness and tighten up the set(which is around 5o mins) there is a lot more but we are keeping it all tight and relevant to where we are playing!
