Sugar City are a newly formed, all-female 80's influenced hard rock/metal band (think Vixen, Lita Ford etc), brought together after being rejected from male 'glam' bands for being women, as well as the general implication that nowadays, all women want to be like Adele or Katy Perry....
We currently consist of a bassist (me), a vocalist and a drummer. All of us have experience performing in other bands and on stage and we are all experience musicians. We've written a few songs and have a few covers in mind to get the crowds going, but what we're lacking is a great female guitarist with a great look and a passion for good old rock n' roll, with killer solos, catchy riffs and fist pounding choruses.
Once we have a full line up, booking gigs will be no problem at all as we have had interest already from other bands for support slots.

Our influences are diverse and we enjoy bands of other genres too but our passion and the direction we want the band to go in corresponds to the influences above, so a love, or at least a desire to play of this type of music is a must.
