Vocalist.

ABOUT

I started out as a self-taught musician, teaching myself to play the harmonica when I was 11 as well as how to read music. I took up the piano at age 18, reaching about grade VI standard by the time I was 21.

At 25, I learned basic guitar while living with two guitarists in Melbourne, Australia - please note that I am not a proficient guitarist, so do not choose me as any kind of guitarist!

At 26, I went back to university (SOAS) to do a degree in Music, which I completed in 2004. In that time, I spent 3 years playing the mbira (Zimbabwean thumb piano).

I did two years of drumming classes in 2012-2014, and consider myself a proficient drummer - but don't expect anything like thrash metal standards! I also have a few years' experience in both the saxophone and flute.

Since 2014, I've played a few rehearsals - mostly bass guitar (which I had to learn from scratch) and the occasional song on drums.
