Hi I'm Sophie,

I'm a self taught vocalist always keen to learn how to improve and find new techniques etc but I've had the biggest passion for music and vocals since very young.

I had hold backs on pursuing music earlier and then 4 years ago I decided to leave a full time job to study music and it was hands down the best decision!

It solidified to me that music is what I want to do and what makes me happy. Since College I released two debut solo Songs, Seventh Heaven (2021) and my latest release Deja Vu (2023). I have a lot of influences so still finding my style, but Love the 70's such as Elton John to modern day music. Particularly Jorja Smith's Style of songs capture everything for me and many pop artists today such as Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift and also alternative pop sounds like Billie Eilish.

Around working a full time job I've picked up some gigs here and there, but it's lonely by yourself, therefore, seeking a session musician ideally guitarist who lives locally to rehearse and potentially build a band with under my artist name Sophie Leigh. I'm keen to make gigs a more regular routine in my spare time to further my career.

When I think of my brand, I would say an aim to to have modern sound with a 70's aesthetic.
