Played in bands for 12 plus years, used to specialise in playing with live loops but they became highly restrictive and had a tendency to fu*k up.
I am now looking to form a two piece (guitar and drums) rock band. Other musicians can be cohorted if the sound requires it, just whatever works really. I think i write in quite a unique style so while i call it rock i am open and indeed looking for all sorts of influences from latin to classical ideas. I think the best things happen when a band has loads of opposing styles/influences to draw upon.
I listen to loads of varying stuff from Battles, Foals, Mr jackson, Early madonna, Prefuse 73, These arms are snakes, Glassjaw anything really.
I do not need to you like the same bands as me.
Please contact if you are a dedicated drummer who knows how to play his kit and are looking to start a band with serious intent. I can comment as much time as is needed to make this work.
