I am a percussionist and a vocalist, and I absolutely love doing both at the same time! I learnt the tabla as a kid (Indian drums) before I switched to playing drums. I have been playing for over 10 years now. I am self-taught, so my level could be way higher than what it should be. But I can confidently say that I can hold my own with just about most stuff that people play (short of difficult odd-time signature stuff!)
I have also been singing since I was a kid, and I have fronted bands as a singer and as a dummer-cum-singer as well. I love doing backup vocals as well because I love experimenting with harmonies!
