Bass Guitarist with more than 25 years experience. Was semi professional bassist in early nineties but now play more part time and have a full-time job (which pays the bills!)

Trained as classical musician at music school (but don't let that put you off...!) Can read charts and music and turn my hand to any type of genre.

I pretty much exclusively play five string bass now but still have a couple of four strings should the need arise as well as fretless. Would like to play more fretless as it's a challenge and sounds great.

Very broad. Back when I started it was mainly funk and pop (well it was the 80's) but now, although I still have the funk/jazz/pop vibe, I mainly play rock/pop and covers (all era's from 60's through to present day)

Influcences I suppose are the usual suspects, Mark King / Jaco / James Jamerson / Victor Wooten / Joe Hubbard / Marcus Miller but will listen and learn from anyone who can hold a groove.
