ABOUT

Rootz De Ville is an established band, although has been off the scene for a couple of years. Looking to get back to gigging, mainly for fun, but may go with the flow dependant on what is on offer.

Music is americana / roots based, but particularly influenced by Ry Cooder, John Hiatt, The Band, Little Feat - so a definite country/blues theme.

Currently we have lead guitar, bass & drums (all with vocals) and we are looking to augment with another instrument. Flexible on this, and if two or more opportunities display themselves, then we may end up with a big band!!! Ideally piano/hammond/accordian/keys would be obviously good, but fiddle would be interesting, and we'd certainly look outside the box, if you think you have something different to offer.
