Birmingham based, 46 year old jazz guitarist looking for other musicians to play with. I've been playing guitar for about 35 years but have really been focused on jazz for the last 10 years or so.
I would ideally like to connect with another guitarist to work up a set of standards with a mind to getting some gigs - coffee shops, restaurants etc - but I am open to working with a vocalist, pianist or upright bass player, as long as you're into jazz. I'm not looking for a virtuoso to play with - just somebody who knows a few standards and can play with a bit of swing and feel.
Week nights are difficult for me, but I am free weekdays and weekends to practice and gig.

Influences
If it sounds good, it is good. In terms of specific artists, though, I like Grant Green, Kenny Burrell, John Pizarelli etc (but really, anything that swings).
