We're Roots Remain (Formerly Pepper Collins) Hard/Prog/Metal Band From Chelmsford.
We are an established band that have gigged around here for the past 2 years or so, and are currently going through a re-branding and change to a bit of a heavier style after our former bassist left to pursue his work.
All of our stuff is original and we have a decent setlist that will be rewritten for the relaunch. ill provide a couple links at the bottom.
Influences you can think along the lines of Mastodon/Northlane/Faith No More/Black Sabbath things like that.
We're currently looking for a new Bass player to join us.
Requirements:
Skill level is not really a factor, decent player with a decent knowledge of theory
-Personality. this trumps all else, looking for someone who will gel with us.
-Own gear. We currently do not own any Gig-Ready bass equipment.
-Be able to drive/Provide own transport if outside the Chelmsford area
-Be 18-35 (although this is just a guideline, not necessary)
-Dedicated and willing to practice/attend writing sessions (usually 3/4 times a month)
