I'd like learn covers especially if the grooves are new and challenging to me but also love jamming being creative seeing where each our ideas can take us to create songs.
I can learn songs pretty quickly by ear and even quicker if i have the music to read.
I have been playing since i was young doing plenty of gigs in high school.
But I did spend some time away from the kit for awhile going on a different path as a teenager and i have found myself coming back to drums.
I am committed to practice and perfecting my technique. I try to put as much time in learning my craft as i can each day, now that i know what i want from life. Which is to one day play professionally and teach.
I will usually practice at least once a day whether its on the pad getting out some rudiments or sitting down going through my books to watching DVDs of drummers who inspire me. I also listen to a wide variety of music to broaden my skills a gain more inspiration for when I'm on the kit.
At the moment I am currently going through my grades and hopefully will do all by then end of the year. I have play along Cd's which i practice too which i will record and post on here in the very near future. I've been playing along to jazz, blues, funk, rock. Just started playing with double pedals using it in fills and really just getting the stamina to play in long sets.
I am up for anything if its just a bass player who wants to jam or joining a band, learning a set and playing live it's all good.
I am available to practice from 9-4 most days but might change soon as im changing jobs

I am influenced mainly by my first drum teacher Freddie who taught me everything i know and passed on wisdom that has made me a better person/drummer overall.
