Songwriter and bass player looking for vocals, guitar, drums, keys to form a band which doesn’t take itself too seriously, to play original, up-tempo rock songs with catchy choruses, designed to put a smile on people’s faces.
For me, being over 50 doesn't automatically mean being relegated to a life of cover versions. There's no reason at all why you can't still play original songs and entertain people. It's all in the mind!
Happy to accommodate members of ‘serious’ bands or who have other commitments, but who want a bit of musical fun on the side. Ideally looking for a mixed gender line-up.
No pressure to commit to rehearsals or gigs every week. This is for fun. Although writing sessions over the odd pint/bottle of wine are actively encouraged.
Sense of humour essential.
Some stage experience useful but not vital.
