Hello. We are the Rec - Dovey on vocals and me, Ritchie - I do the music. We have just released our first album, town slang, on Bandcamp: https://therec1.bandcamp/album/town-slang. We write and arrange the songs ourselves - we don't do covers.
It was entirely recorded in our homes in London and LA. For that reason, we don't play live.
We have a bunch of new songs and would like to expand our sound by working with a keyboard player and/or someone who can create rhythms. The people we are looking for will enjoy some or all of the following: Love, New Order, the Postal Service, Sleaford Mods, Magazine, Portishead, Gang of Four, etc.
